Abstract
The construction and operation of a chamber for studying the effect of different conditions of environmental temperature, humidity, and air movement on livestock, with special reference to swine, has been briefly described.
1 This paper is a result of a cooperative project between the Division of Farm buildings and Rural Housing, Bureau of Plant Industry, Soils, and Agricultural Engineering U.S.D.A., and the Divisions of Animal Husbandry and Agricultural Engineering of the University of California.
