ASAS President's Address—1989

Abstract

Conclusions: Participation is a key factor in the success of any organization. ASAS will become what we, as members, make it. I have been very pleased with the willingness of the members to readily accept responsibility. This positive attitude will keep ASAS a strong and futuristic Society. The Board has been elected to provide leadership, but they represent the membership. Therefore, the Board needs your input and your ideas. Please be in touch with any member of the Board to express concerns and/or provide input on ways to improve the Society. ASAS is a dynamic organization because it is made up of dynamic people. Thanks to all of you for your help throughout this year.
