Announcements about meetings, personnel changes and other items of interest to the Society should be sent to the Technical Editor, Journal of Animal Science, 309 W. Clark St., Champaign, IL 61820. Approximately 90 days should be allowed from date of submission until receipt of the Journal by the membership. These announcements are edited and published free of charge.

AUTHORS, PLEASE NOTE: Effective immediately, all manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Animal Science should be submitted in triplicate. Also, please note that two glossy copies of all photomicrographs should be submitted. Photomicrographs should include an indication of scale, because magnifications change as figures are reduced or enlarged to fit the page layout. If photomicrographs are submitted in widths of 16, 24, or 33 picas the scale indication is less crucial; such photomicrographs will be shot at 100% their original size.

ATTENTION ALL AUTHORS: A new major heading will be required in all manuscripts submitted for review following January 1, 1989.
