Announcements about meetings, personnel changes and other items of interest to the Society should be sent to the Technical Editor, Journal of Animal Science, 309 W. Clark St., Champaign, IL 61820. Approximately 90 days should be allowed from date of submission until receipt of the Journal by the membership. These announcements are edited and published free of charge.

The 1988 Joint Regional Meeting of the Northeastern Section ASAS and ADSA will be held in conjunction with the national ASAS meetings at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, July 18–22. Regional association activities will include a graduate student paper competition combined with the many scientific presentations, symposia, poster sessions, and evening sessions of the national ASAS meeting. Abstracts of papers for presentation should be submitted on the appropriate abstract form. The original and six copies of regional ASAS abstracts should be submitted to national ASAS using the national ASAS abstract form by March 1, 1988.
