Abstract

Announcements of new books should be sent to the Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Curtiss M. Bailey, Animal Science Department, University of Nevada, Reno, NV 89557-0097. The charge is $50 (minimum) for a 2-inch, one-column announcement plus $25 for each additional inch (or portion of an inch). Announcements will be edited; ordinarily they will not exceed 2 inches.

"Petit Lexique de Physiologie et de Nutrition Animales" by Alice Daifuku is a small bilingual lexicon of basic vocabulary in French and English currently used in the fields of animal nutrition and physiology. The dictionary is divided into two parts, French-English and English-French, each containing about 1,500 key words. This book is available from INRA Publications, Route de St. Cyr, 78000 Versailles, France.
