Placement

Announcements of available positions and prospective employees should be sent directly to Gayle Gleichman, American Society of Animal Science, 309 West Clark Street, Champaign, IL 61820. Approximately 90 days should be allowed from date of submission until receipt of the Journal by the membership. Announcements of available positions should include a brief description of the position and the name of the person to contact for further information. The charge for listing available positions is $50 (minimum) for a 2-inch, one-column announcement plus $25 for each additional inch (or portion of an inch). Announcements will be edited; ordinarily position announcements will not exceed 4 inches. Announcements of prospective employees should include name, address, education, specialization, experience and date available. Anonymity may be requested, in which case a box number will be assigned so that contacts can be made through the ASAS Business Office. Only ASAS members can list their availability as prospective employees. A 1-inch, one-column announcement (edited) will be free to those seeking employment; longer announcements will be subject to a charge of $25 for each additional inch (or portion of an inch).
