Placement

Effective with the January 1986 issue, a charge will be levied for the announcement of available positions and prospective employees. The charge for listing available positions is $50 (minimum) for a 2-inch, one-column announcement plus $25 for each additional inch (or portion of an inch). Announcements will be edited; ordinarily position announcements will not exceed 3 inches. Only ASAS members can list their availability as prospective employees. A 1-inch, one-column announcement will be free to those seeking employment; longer announcements will be subject to a charge of $25 for each additional inch (or portion of an inch).

The USDA invites applicants for the position of Postdoctoral/Research Associate available immediately in the Nonruminant Animal Nutrition Laboratory. The candidate will work on the biochemical and histological aspects of a dietary copper-carbohydrate interaction in the young, growing pig. The position requires a Ph.D. with training in the areas of nutrition/biochemistry.
