Placement

Effective with the January 1986 issue, a charge will be levied for the announcement of available positions and prospective employees. The charge for listing available positions is $50 (minimum) for a 2-inch, one-column announcement plus $25 for each additional inch (or portion of an inch). Announcements will be edited; ordinarily position announcements will not exceed 3 inches. Only ASAS members can list their availability as prospective employees. A 1-inch, one-column announcement will be free to those seeking employment; longer announcements will be subject to a charge of $25 for each additional inch (or portion of an inch).

The University of Missouri-Columbia Dairy Science Department is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor in dairy cattle physiology and nutritional metabolism. This is a tenure-track position, 60% teaching and 40% research. Candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Dairy, Animal or related biological sciences. A strong background in physiology, with interest in nutritional metabolism and (or) biochemistry is essential.
