Placement

The procedures to be followed by prospective employees and by firms or universities in the submission of information to be listed in this Placement section may be found in the Placement section of the July 1984 issue of this journal.

Effective with the January 1986 issue, a charge will be levied for the announcement of new books, available positions and prospective employees. The charge is $50 (minimum) for a 2-inch, one-column announcement plus $25 for each additional inch (or portion of an inch). Announcements will be edited; ordinarily new book listings and position announcements will not exceed 2 and 3 inches, respectively. Only ASAS members can list their availability as prospective employees. A 1-inch, one-column announcement will be free to those seeking employment; longer announcements will be subject to a charge of $25 for each additional inch (or portion of an inch).
