Placement

Abstract

The procedures to be followed by prospective employees and by firms or universities in the submission of information to be listed in this Placement section may be found in the Placement section of the July 1984 issue of this journal.

The Department of Animal Physiology, University of California, invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, the level depending on background and experience. This is an 11-month, full-time, tenure-track appointment. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the department's advising and teaching program in systemic physiology for undergraduate and graduate students. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. and a demonstrated ability to conduct high quality and original research in animal physiology. Applicants should submit curriculum vitae, statement of research and teaching interests, reprints, transcripts (if Ph.D. conferred within last five years) and names and addresses of at least three references to: Chair, Animal Physiologist Search Committee, Department of Animal Physiology, University of California, Davis, CA 95616.
