Abstract

The procedures to be followed by prospective employees and by firms or universities in the submission of information to be listed in this Placement section may be found in the Placement section of the January 1979 issue of this journal.

The Department of Animal Science at North Carolina State University is seeking applicants for an Extension Specialist/Assistant Professor position in dairy husbandry with graduate training in reproductive physiology. A Ph.D. degree in Dairy or Animal Science and a farm background is preferred. Those with training in other closely related areas of Dairy or Animal Science will be considered. Assignment will be in the dairy extension area with primary responsibility for developing extension education programs and providing agent training in reproductive management of dairy cattle. The person must have a definite interest and commitment to extension and would be expected to support and participate in the total dairy extension program even though the primary effort would be in the reproductive management area.
