Abstract

The procedures to be followed by prospective employees and by firms or universities in the submission of information to be listed in this Placement section may be found in the Placement section of the January 1979 issue of this journal. The University of California Cooperative Extention will soon be recruiting for: Farm Advisor-Livestock (#8228) for Alameda and Contra Cost Countries, Farm Advisor-Livestock (#8229) for Solano and Napa Counties. Closing dates have not been established. The Department of Animal Sciences, University of Kentucky, Lexington, announces the opening for a tenure track position as assistant or associate extension professor in the area of meat science. The person will work with various segments of the livestock and meat industry on problems of concern to the industry. Required: A Ph.D. in Food Science or Animal Science with a strong science background and with a knowledge of livestock production and meat technology.
