Placement

Abstract

The procedures to be followed by prospective employees and by firms or universities in the submission of information to be listed in this Placement section may be found in the Placement section of the January 1979 issue of this journal.

Texas Tech University Animal Science Dept. is seeking a nationally recognized beef cattle scientist to fill a recently established "Thornton Distinguished Chair in Animal Science." An endowment from the Jessie Lee and Dan Thornton estate has been made to Texas Tech University to provide permanent salary and support funding for this position. Opportunities for research and teaching in any discipline related to beef cattle are available.

Required: Scientists with a proven record in research and(or) teaching are encouraged to apply. Starting date is scheduled for September 1, 1981.
