Placement

Abstract

The procedures to be followed by prospective employees and by firms or universities in the submission of information to be listed in this Placement section may be found in the Placement section of the January 1979 issue of this journal.

Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University, Blacksburg, is seeking an Instructor, Dept. of Animal Science (AY Appointment). The primary responsibilities of this position are to conduct teaching programs in hunt seat equitation and stable management. Specific description of responsibilities consist of: (1) plan and conduct equitation classes at three levels; beginning, intermediate and advanced; (2) assume responsibility for the proper and safe use of the horses and tack, and the safety of the students enrolled in the program; (3) carry out instructional program in stable management; and (4) cooperate with the Animal Science faculty in the total teaching program.

Required: a BS and MS with one degree in Animal Science or related area.
