The 71st Annual Meeting of the American Society of Animal Science will be July 29-August 1, 1979 at the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ. All members are encouraged to submit papers. Abstracts must be received by March 15, 1979. For further information contact the National Office, ASAS, 309 W. Clark St., Champaign, IL 61820. 217-356-3182.

The annual meeting of the Northeastern Section ASAS and the Northeastern Division ADSA will be held at West Virginia University, Morgantown, June 17–19, 1979. Abstracts of papers for presentation should be submitted on the appropriate abstract form. The original and four copies of each abstract must be received by March 1,1979. Send all abstracts to W. H. Hoover, Ag. Sciences Bldg., West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV 26506.
