The Southern Section American Society of Animal Science will hold its annual meeting February 4–7, 1979, in New Orleans, LA. The meeting will be held in connection with the annual meeting of the Southern Association of Agricultural Scientists. Meetings will be held at the Grand Hotel, 1500 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70140. 504-523-4471. Reservations should be made direct.

The World Congress on Sheep and Beef Cattle Breeding will be held on November 3–5, 1980 at Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand. Pre- and post-congress tours are being planned.
