The University of California-Davis is seeking an assistant or associate professor in meat science. 50 percent teaching, 50 percent research. Teaching responsibilities will include development of an undergraduate course in meat science, a laboratory course on meat quality and carcass evaluation, and participation in a graduate meat science program leading to the Master's degree. Research with meat animal species is expected.
Required: a Ph.D. in related field with strong background and evidence of experience in meat science and livestock improvement.
