New Location for Business Office

On September 15, 1978, a building was acquired to house the business offices of the American Society of Animal Science, the American Dairy Science Association, the Society for the Study of Reproduction, the Weed Science Society of America, the Poultry Science Association and the North Central Weed Control Conference. The move from 311 Illinois Building, 113 North Neil Street, will be to 309 West Clark Street, Champaign. Tentative date to begin the move is November 6, 1978 with completion on November 9.

The Southern Section American Society of Animal Science, will hold its annual meeting February 4–7, 1979, in New Orleans, LA. The meeting will be held in connection with the annual meeting of the Southern Association of Agricultural Scientists. Meetings will be held at the Grand Hotel, 1500 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70140. Telephone: 504-523-4471. Reservations should be made direct.

Important dates to remember: Nov. 15, 1978- nominations for Distinguished Award due in the President-Elect's Office (W. C. McCormick, Georgia Coastal Plains Station): Jan. 10, 1979-manuscripts for the awards competition section due in the Secretary's office (A. M. Sorenson, Texas A&M University).
