Job Opportunities

The Department of Animal Science, Iowa State University is seeking a person with the Ph.D. degree in ruminant nutrition with emphasis on dairy nutrition and management to develop and conduct extension teaching programs on a state wide basis, to assume leadership for continuing education programs for professional nutritionists and to participate in program development and training for area livestock extension specialists. Applicants must have a practical background in livestock production, the ability to communicate effectively and to cooperate with other specialists in program development and delivery.
