The 69th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Animal Science will be held July 23 to 27, 1977, at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Authors submitting manuscripts for the Applied Animal Science section of the Journal of Animal Science should use only the metric system of measurements, beginning with the January 1977 issue. This decision to use the metric system throughout all subject matter sections of the Journal was made by the Board of Directors at their August 1976 meeting in response to the recommendation of the Editorial Board. Authors preparing articles to be considered for publication in the Applied Animal Science section should comply with this change immediately to expedite the transition.

The 27th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Society of Animal Science will be held August 14 to 18, 1977 at the University of Guelph, Ontario.
