Abstract

The 68th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Animal Science will be held August 15 to 18,1976 at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas.

Do you play a musical instrument? The Animal Science Band is looking for additional members for the 1976 season, August 15 to 18, in College Station, Texas. Bring your instruments to the A.S.A.S. meeting and join the fun! Write to Robert L. Hostetler, Animal Science Department, Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas 77843, before July 15 so that music can be arranged for your instrument. If the instrument you play is too large to bring, we may be able to find one here, if you will let us know.

Robert H. Foote, Animal Science Department, Cornell University, has recently been honored by his alma mater, the University of Connecticut, as the 1976 recipient of the Block and Bridle Club Alumni Award. Dr. Foote, a native of Hebron, Connecticut, was graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1943, then served overseas in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946.
