The 67th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Animal Science will be held July 27 to July 30, 1975 at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado.

The eighth annual meeting of the Society for the Study of Reproduction will be held at Colorado State Universty, Fort Collins, Colorado, in July, 1975 (Tuesday, July 22 to Friday, July 25). In addition to sessions devoted to research papers, a symposium on "Mechanisms of Protein Hormone Action" and the annual Carl Hartman lecture are scheduled. The Midwestern Section of the A.S.A.S. held its 12th annual business meeting at the La Salle Hotel in Chicago on November 29 and 30, 1974. Over 500 attended the sessions where 163 papers were presented. Younger Scientist Awards were presented to Dr. Mitchell Geasler, Extension; Dr. Fred Owens, Research and Dr. Daniel Gee, Teaching. Retiring president V. C. Speer, along with award winners were honored and recognized with suitably inscribed plaques during the business meeting.
