Abstract

Notices of change of address should reach the Secretary of the Society at least 40 days in advance of the month of publication of the issue for which they become effective. Members and subscribers will relieve the Secretary of considerable trouble and work by supplying new addresses well in advance of the date a change is desired.

E. P. Orcutt, livestock specialist for the Montana State College Extension Service, has resigned to become manager of the Deer Lodge Farms Co., Deer Lodge, Montana.

Louis L. Madsen, nutritionist in the Animal Husbandry Division, Bureau of Animal Industry, Beltsville, Maryland, has accepted an appointment as head of the Animal Husbandry Department, Utah State Agricultural College, Logan, Utah, and will assume his new duties there in the near future.

Banner Bill Morgan, parasitologist and assistant professor of veterinary science at the University of Wisconsin, is the author of a book entitled "Bovine Trichomoniasis," published in 1944 by the Burgess Publishing Co., 426 South Sixth Street, Minneapolis, 15, Minn. It contains 150 pages and is a comprehensive review of both the theoretical and applied aspects of the subject.
