Abstract

The Annual Meeting of the Southern Section of the A.S.A.S. will be held in the Delta Towers Hotel, New Orleans, Louisiana, February 2 to February 5, 1975.

International Embryo Transfer Society. On May 26, 1974, a group of 25 persons representing 14 different bovine embryo transfer facilities from the United States, Canada, and Great Britain met together in Denver, Colorado, and organized the International Embryo Transfer Society. The society is open to persons actively involved in the technical aspects of embryo transfer. This includes researchers working with laboratory and domestic animals, veterinarians, reproductive physiologists, and others engaged in embryo transfer. The officers elected at the organizational meeting are: President, Dr. R. T. Sturm of Calgary, Alberta; Vice-President, Dr. Ken Bederian of Norval, Ontario; Secretary/Treasurer, Dr. J. M. Wright of Pearsall, Texas. The Board of Directors consists of Dr. R. A. Carmichael of Keota, Iowa; Dr. Murry Jacobson of Calgary, Alberta; Dr. Darby Moeller of Ft. Collins, Colorado; and Dr. R. H. Schultz of St. Paul, Minnesota.
