Abstract

An International Symposium on Livestock Wastes will be held at the University of Illinois, Urbana- Champaign, April 21 to 24, 1975. A.S.A.S. members are invited to submit papers. Write to Dr. G. L. Pratt, Agricultural Engineering Department, North Dakota State University, Fargo 58102, or to the American Society of Agricultural Engineers, Box 410, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085, for information.

Fifth Biennial Symposium of Biochemistry and Nutrition (Multidisciplinary with emphasis on new sources of food) will be held in Shiraz, Iran from May 5 to May 7, 1975. Abstracts must be postmarked before the deadline of January 1, 1975. For further information, write Dr. B. Emmanuel, School of Veterinary Medicine, Pahlavi University, Shiraz, Iran.

The Proceedings of the Eighth Beef A. I. Conference, held at Denver in January 1974, may be ordered from the National Association of Animal Breeders, Box 1033, Columbia, Missouri 65201.
