The 66th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Animal Science will be held July 28 to July 31, 1974 at the University of Maryland, College Park.

The IV International Symposium on Ruminant Physiology will be held from August 19 to 23, 1974 in the Stephen Robert Theatre, University of Sydney, N.S.W., Australia. The topic for the Symposium has been defined as those aspects of physiology specific to ruminant mode of digestion. The aim of the meetings is to integrate the various approaches, from animal behaviour to neurophysiology, from bacteriology to protein chemistry, or from electron microscopy to applied nutrition. The Fourth Annual Meeting of the Society for Neuroscience will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, October 20 to 23, 1974, at the Chase Plaza Hotel. Symposia, state-of-the-art sessions, in-depth panel explorations, dinner discussion groups, and volunteer paper sessions will cover a broad range of neuroscientific subjects. A special demonstration covering the use of computers in the neurosciences is also planned in cooperation with the Washington University School of Medicine.
