Abstract

The 66th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Animal Science will be held July 28 to July 31, 1974 at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Paul G. Harms joined the Physiology of Reproduction Section of the Animal Science Department, Texas A&M University on January 1, 1974. He is Assistant Professor with principal responsibilities in teaching artificial insemination, and research related to endocrine involvement in reproductive functions. He was previously a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Neuroendocrinology, Department of Physiology, University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. His undergraduate and Master of Science programs were completed at the University of Illinois and the Ph.D. in Physiology of Reproduction at Purdue University. During 4 years with the USAF he was Staff Research Physiologist. He was honored as a David Ross Fellow of the Purdue University Research Foundation in 1966. The majority of his research has been in the neuroendocrine field as related to reproduction. He is a member of the American Society of Animal Science, American Association for the Advancement of Science, Society for the Study of Reproduction, American Institute for Biological Sciences and the Society of Sigma Xi.
