The 65th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Animal Science will be held July 29 to August 1, 1973 at the University of Nebraska and the United States Meat Animal Research Center.

Proposed Changes in Constitution and By-Laws of the American Society of Animal Science, Inc. (See Journal of Animal Science, February 1972, Vol. 34, No. 2, page 365) Article III3fficers and Executive Committee. Section I.

"Vice President", has been changed to "President-elect" starting in this section and in all sections thereafter.

This change has been initiated by the Executive Committee of the A.S.A.S.

The Northeast Section of the American Society of Animal Science held its annual meetings jointly with the Northeast Division, American Dairy Science Association at University of New Hampshire, Durham, N. Y., July 16 to 18, 1972. There were 112 professional participants and 186 total registrants in attendance. A total of 42 technical papers plus several extension workshops and a symposium, Career Opportunities and Challenges in Animal and Dairy Science, moderated by A. M. Smith, Vermont.
