Abstract
A relatively simple and highly accurate computer program is described using log log interpolation from a regression equation based on a standard curve for radioimmunoassays and competitive protein binding assays. Specific adaptation was for single label liquid scintillation counting using the Beckman System where an external standard ratio is determined using an external gamma source. In instances where this ratio does not describe the true efficiency for conversion of CPM to DPM, a linear regression function can be used. Statistics on these curves are made as indices of precision.
