Abstract

The 63rd Annual Meeting of the American Society of Animal Science will be held August 1 through 4, 1971 at the University of California, Davis, California.

The 1971 Meeting of the Southern Section, A.S.A.S., will be held at the Robert Meyer Hotel, Jacksonville, Florida, February 1 through 3.

Teacher Evaluation Workshop. The National Association of Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA) is conducting a workshop at Arizona State University, January 29 through February 2, 1971, to explore some possibilities for defining college agriculture teaching competence in measurable terms and constructing an instrument that will measure the level of such competence. Teachers and others with responsibility to the teaching profession who might be interested in participating should contact Dr. E. Grant Moody, Division of Agriculture, Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona 85281.

International Symposium on Shrubs. An International Symposium on Useful Shrubs of the world's dry lands will be held on the campus of Utah State University at Logan, Utah, July 12 to 17, 1971.
