Meeting of the American Society of Animal Science. The 62nd Annual Meeting of the Society will be held at Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pennsylvania, beginning at noon on July 31 through August 7, 1970, A special symposium on "Sex Ratio at Birth—Prospects for Control" will be held July 31 and August 1; business meetings, contributed papers, and other symposia August 2 to August 5; and a special symposium on "Control of Metabolism," August 6 to 7. The Western Section of A.S.A.S. will meet at the Utah State University, Logan, Utah July 12, 13 and 14, 1970.

The First National Biological Congress will be held in Cobo Hall, Detroit, Michigan, November 6 to 10, 1970. It is sponsored by the American Institute of Biological Sciences and the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology.
