Meeting of the American Society of Animal Science. The 62nd Annual Meeting of the Society will be held at Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pennsylvania, August 2 to 6, 1970.

The Animal Nutrition Committee of the University of Georgia's College of Agriculture Experiment Stations served as the host and coordinating group for a recent Institute of Animal Nutrition sponsored by the Southern Regional Educational Board. This is the first such institute of a recently developed S.R.E.B. program designed to provide continuing education for agricultural faculties of the land grant colleges and universities in the 15-state southern region. Symposiums on Energy Utilization, Proteins and Amino Acids, Trace Minerals, Developments in Vitamin Nutrition and Nonprotein Nitrogen Utilization featured world recognized authorities from across the United States. The Proceedings of the Institute will be published in book form. Individuals interested in acquiring a copy should contact Dr. Robert Seerley, Department of Animal Science, University of Georgia.
