Abstract

Committee on International Animal Agriculture A program was planned for the 61st annual meeting on International Programs for the Improvement of Animal Production under the Chairmanship of Dr. Ralph W. Phillips. Invited speakers will discuss animal production programs of FAO, of the Interamerican Institute of Agricultural Sciences, of the IBRD (World Bank), of Foundations, of private industry overseas, and of research under Public Law 480.

The Committee recommends that a program on international animal agriculture either with invited or contributed papers or both, be continued as a regular part of the annual program.

Committee on Revision of Rules for the Honorary Fellow Award The Committee recommends that Section V. of the Rules for the Honorary Fellow Award be changed to read as follows:

V. Eligibility for Nomination:

1. Persons who have rendered very distinguished service to the animal industry or to the American Society of Animal Science are eligible.
