Abstract

The Annual Meeting of the American Institute of Biological Sciences will be held August 18, 19 and 20, 1969, at the University of Vermont, Burlington. "An introduction to modelling with analog and digital computers for the practicing biologist" will be pre-presented for the second time at the meeting by Dr. Bernard C. Patten, Professor, Department of Zoology, The University of Georgia. Dr. Patten is a biologist who has found familiarity with computers to be both highly useful and an easily acquired attribute.

Attendance is limited to 150 advance registrants.

Advance registration may be accomplished by sending a check or money order for $10,00 payable to the American Institute of Biological Sciences to Mrs. Patricia Horner at AIBS/BIAC, 3900 Wisconsin Avenue, N. W., Washington, D. C. 20016 on or before August 1969.

Printed lecture notes and workbooks are provided to registrants and several hours of "hands on" operating experience with a variety of computing machines will be provided.
