Abstract

The 1969 Annual Meeting of the North Atlantic Section of the ASAS will be at the University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware, July 6 to 8, 1969.

A symposium on "Challenges in Living Systems" will be held during the 1969 Annual Meeting of the American Institute of Biological Sciences at the University of Vermont, Burlington, August 17 to 22, sponsored by the American Society of Animal Science and the Poultry Science Association. The principal purpose is to publicize to college biology teachers the high quality and fundamental character of research in animal, poultry, and dairy science, so that they will encourage their students towards graduate study and research in the animal sciences. Dr. A. V. Nalbandov will be chairman.

The 1969 Meat Industry Research Conference will be held March 27 and 28 at the Center for Continuing Education, University of Chicago. The Conference is sponsored jointly by the American Meat Science Association and the American Meat Institute Foundation.
