Modified In Vivo Artificial Rumen (Vivar) Techniques1

Abstract

Construction of two simplified in vivo artificial rumen (VIVAR) devices is described; performance characteristics of membrane filter, Visking and other membranes are given; and potential applications of the VIVAR equipment are discussed.
