Meeting of the American Society of Animal Science. The 54th annual meeting will be held at the Hotel Sherman, Chicago, Friday and Saturday, November 23 and 24, 1962. Members will be sent a letter in June regarding papers. Titles of papers are to be submitted to the Secretary's office by July 20, and abstracts are to be submitted by August 15. Authors of papers must be members of the Society, but associate authors may be non-members. Nominations for awards are due in the office of the Secretary-Treasurer by June 15, 1962. The rules for awards have been revised and some new awards have been added this year. A copy of the revised rules was sent to each member in April. The following awards are offered this year:

Morrison Award—Established by Professor and Mrs. F. B. Morrison to honor annually a member who has done outstanding research of direct importance to livestock production.
