The Dam-Daughter Correlation of Clean Wool Production in Rambouillet Sheep

H. M. Briggs*

0klahoma Agricultural Experiment Station

Abstract

A dam-daughter correlation of .575 was secured in a study of ewes and daughters of the Rambouillet breed. This value suggests that the inheritance a daughter receives from her mother very definitely influences the amount of scoured wool she will produce under similar environmental conditions.
