Minutes of the Twenty-Sixth Annual Business Meeting

November 30, 1935

Hotel Sherman

Abstract

The meeting was called to order at 2 p. m. by President H. H. Kildee.

The following report from the Committee on Investigation was submitted by L. A. Maynard and adopted:

This committee was requested to report on the operation of the recently inaugurated plan for the interchange of mimeographed reports of experimental work. To obtain data on this question a letter was sent to each of the 34 cooperators. Of the 23 replies received, 20 expressed satisfaction with the interchange and a desire for its continuance. On the basis of these replies, which also contained suggestions for the improvement of the plan, the committee makes the following recommendations:

  1. that the plan be continued. It is believed that this interchange of mimeographed reports is especially desirable at this time in view of the developments in regional activities.
  2. that each cooperator be advised that the continued and more complete success of the plan depends upon (a) the prompt dispatch to all other cooperators of all material issued by his department and (b) the dissemination of all material received to the various members of his department.
