The extension section held two sessions, one at 3:00 P. M. and the other at 7:30 P. M.
The afternoon session was called to order by Chairman B. F. Creech of West Virginia with forty persons present. Dr. C. D. Lowe of the United States Department of Agriculture discussed the subject "The AAA Live Stock Program." This talk was very interesting and stimulated many questions. L. A. Kauffman of the Ohio Sheep and Wool Growers Association, read an excellent paper entitled "An Extension Program in Wool Production and Marketing." Following this paper, there was considerable discussion led by Dean Hill of Wyoming. The next speaker was Edward F. Wilson, President of Wilson and Company. He discussed the question "How Can Packers Reflect to Live Stock Producers the Consumer's Preference in Meat Animals?"
The evening session met at 7:30 and lasted until 10:30. It was devoted to a round table discussion of current problems in extension work.
