Minutes of the Twenty-Fourth Annual Business Meeting

Saturday Afternoon, November 28, 1931

Abstract

The meeting was called to order by President McCampbell at 2 p. m. The following committee reports were read, discussed and adopted. Since the reports are printed elsewhere in the Proceedings, they will only be mentioned here.

Committee on Cooperative Meat Investigations: Report explained by Mr. Sheets and received without reading.

Committee on Methods of Investigation: Report presented by chairman Lush.

Committee on Methods of Instruction: Report presented by chairman Hultz.

Committee on Animal Husbandry Extension: Report presented by chairman Rhoads.

Committee on Ventilization Research: Report from chairman Kelly read.

Committee on Show Yard Practices: Report presented by chairman Loeffel.

Committee on Mixed Feeds: Chairman Brown said that the committee had no report.

A special auditing committee consisting of M. D. Helser and F. W. Christensen reported that the treasurer's report had been "examined and found to be correct."

The report of the Secretary-Treasurer showed a net membership of 368. During the year 22 new members were added, 17 memberships lapsed, 10 members withdrew and one member died (Prof. W. A. Lippencott).
