Minutes of the Twenty-Third Annual Business Meeting

Saturday Afternoon, November 29, 1930

Abstract

The meeting was called to order by President Wiley at 3:45 p.m. The following committee reports were read, discussed and adopted. As the amended reports appear elsewhere in the "Proceedings" no discussion is allotted to them here.

Committee on Methods of Investigation: Report presented by Chairman Bohstedt.

Committee on Methods of Instruction: Report presented by Chairman McCampbell.

Committee on Animal Husbandry Extension: Report presented by Chairman Lowe.

Committee on Ventilation Research: Report presented by Chairman Kelly.

Committee on Show Yard Practices: In the absence of Chairman Rusk, Mr. Loeffel stated that the committee had no special report to make, but recommended that the report of last year be made permanent. Report adopted.

Committee on Cooperation was discontinued.

Committee on Mixed Feeds: Report presented by Chairman Brown.

It was recommended that a Committee on Information be appointed by the incoming president to work with the president and secretary in giving publicity to the papers presented at the meetings.
