Vitamin B in Meat and Eggs

Abstract

Briefly summarized, the results of the experiments reported in this paper are as follows:

  1. The samples of beef and veal tested were found to be relatively deficient in vitamin B.
  2. The average vitamin B content of the samples of lamb tested was appreciably higher than the average value for the samples of beef.
  3. Lean pork was found to be rich in vitamin B.
  4. Eggs were found to contain only a moderate amount of vitamin B.
