Report and Recommendations of the Executive Committee of the American Society of Animal Nutrition

Abstract

In accordance with the action of this Society, the record of the proceedings of the last annual meeting was published and distributed to the members of the society. A member of copies were also used in the effort to secure increased membership. We still have on hand about 1,000 copies of this report. There are also on hand about 150 copies of the proceedings of the organization meeting.

In regard to membership, the executive committee is pleased to report that the society was organized with 32 charter members.Last year our membership numbered 78. At the present time, we have 104 members representing 35 states besides the United States Department of Agriculture and Canada.

We regret to report the death of one of our able and honored members, Prof. John A. Craig. His earnest and effective work to advance the cause of Animal Husbandry is appreciated by all of us.
