Abstract

Applications for the Ralston-Purina research fellowships should be on file by March 1. Application blanks may be obtained from the Ralston-Purina Research Awards Committee in care of Mr. J. D. Sykes, Ralston-Purina Co., St. Louis, Missouri. The fellowships are for $1,560 annually and awards will be made in the fields of nutrition and physiology research as applied to dairy, poultry and animal husbandry, and in research in transmissible diseases of livestock and poultry. Individuals qualified for graduate study in any Land-Grant Agriculture College and approved Veterinary College are eligible.

The joint annual meeting of the Western Section of the American Society of Animal Production and the Western Division of the American Dairy Science Association will be held at the University of Nevada, Reno, July 15-18, 1956.
