An Esophageal Fistula for Animal Nutrition Studies

Abstract

An esophageal fistula has been devised for collecting samples of feed eaten by gracing animals. A series of trials is described in which a sheep with an esophageal fistula was used as the sampling and collecting agent for range herbage.
