The Value of Ammoniated Condensed Distillers Molasses Solubles as a Feed for Beef Cattle1

A. D. Tillman and J. F. Kidwell2

Louisiana Agricultural Experiment Station

Abstract

In two trials no significant differences in gain were noted when ammoniated Condensed Distillers Molasses Solubles replaced 25 percent and 50 percent of the molasses in a normal ration for growing cattle. However, in both trials the lots receiving the ration with 50 percent ammoniated Condensed Distillers Molasses Solubles made the lowest gains.
