Abstract
The results of these experiments show that 0.83 milligram of riboflavin per pound of diet in dry lot is adequate for growing swine. This amount is supplied from practical diets but probably not in any great excess. An amount of 0.55 milligram of riboflavin per pound of feed was inadequate for growth and caused symptoms of riboflavin deficiency.
There was an indication that riboflavin is associated with utilization of feed during the first 10 weeks of growth.
1 The authors are grateful to Mr. Ivan Lindahl and Mr. C. E, Faulkner for the riboflavin assays.
