A Metabolism Crate for Use with Sheep1

Abstract

The construction of a metabolism crate is described which provides for the quantitative separation and collection of feces and urine eliminated by sheep of either sex. The metabolism crate, including the tray for the collection and separation of feces and urine, is illustrated by photographs and labelled drawings made to scale.
